Overview
- Variety first reported Saturday that John Wilson has been filming Harry Styles at Madison Square Garden, and IndieWire and The A.V. Club corroborated sightings and social-media clips of Wilson shooting during Styles’ residency.
- Sources say filming began in August and follows Styles’ 'Together, Together' Madison Square Garden run, which is the largest single-engagement residency at the venue.
- The film is described as a hybrid that combines live-concert footage with human-centered behind-the-scenes stories drawn from the singer, fans, and crew.
- Universal Pictures Content Group, Peanut World Pictures and Harry Styles are listed as producers, with UPCG reported to own global rights, and representatives for Styles, Wilson and Universal gave no immediate comment.
- Reporters note the project fits a recent wave of high-profile concert films and could raise significant box-office and cultural stakes if Universal pursues a theatrical release, while production and distribution details remain unconfirmed.
