J&K Police Arrest Five, Seize 1.13 Kg Heroin in Baramulla and Jammu Raids

- In Baramulla, a targeted operation near Government Medical College parking around 7 p.m. Monday led to the arrest of Sobiya Bano, 29, and Tahir Ahmad Khan, 26.
- Police recovered 964 grams of heroin there, seized two phones and a Tata Punch (JK05L-7844), and registered an FIR under Section 21 of the NDPS Act.
- The contraband recovered in Baramulla was valued by police at nearly Rs 1 crore on the illegal market.
- In Jammu’s RS Pura, officers stopped a car at Daljeet Chowk on Tuesday and detained Pritam Singh alias Sethi, Narayan Sharma alias Shunna, and Jaspreet Kour alias Preeti.
- From that vehicle, police recovered 170 grams of heroin and two sharp-edged weapons, and opened a case at RS Pura Police Station to trace supply and financial links.
