- J&K’s MeT projects mainly dry conditions with no major rain or widespread snowfall through February 26.

- Skies are likely to turn partly to generally cloudy on February 25–26 after a largely dry stretch from February 18–24.
- Daytime temperatures are running about 7–8°C above normal, with Srinagar at 16.6°C on Monday after 18.0°C Sunday, and Gulmarg at 10.0°C versus a typical 1.5°C.
- The MeT expects a gradual rise in minimum and maximum temperatures over the next week and advises farmers to continue fieldwork while urging residents in snow‑bound high areas to avoid avalanche‑prone slopes.
