Overview
- Advance estimates place nominal GSDP at about Rs 2.86 lakh crore for 2025–26, with real output around Rs 1.50 lakh crore.
- Per capita income is pegged at Rs 1,68,243 for 2025–26 after an 8.81% CAGR since 2019–20, remaining below the national average of Rs 2,19,575.
- Unemployment (usual status) fell to 6.1% in 2023–24 as LFPR rose to 64.3% and WPR to 60.4%, indicating stronger labour participation.
- Revenue receipts reached Rs 13,521 crore by November 2025 (64% of FY25 total), with notable gains in GST, excise, and power-related collections.
- Over 2019–20 to 2024–25, real GSDP grew at a 4.47% CAGR, faster than Delhi and Himachal Pradesh and marginally above Haryana, though the new 2025–26 growth projections are lower than last year’s survey estimates of 7.06% real and 11.19% nominal.
