JetBlue Upgrades $499 Premier Card With Companion Credits, Status Boost and 15% Award Rebate

The richer perks aim to make JetBlue’s premium card competitive with rivals from Amex, Chase and Capital One.

Overview

  • JetBlue and Barclays announced the Premier card refresh Monday, with new perks rolling out later this spring and the annual fee staying at $499.
  • Cardholders can earn companion pass statement credits of up to $500 after $15,000 in spend and up to $1,500 after $75,000, issued only after both travelers complete the trip.
  • Members receive a 25‑tile annual bonus toward Mosaic elite status, on top of earning one tile for every $1,000 in eligible card spending.
  • Award bookings now get a 15% points rebate on JetBlue and partner airlines, and portal purchases can trigger up to $300 a year in $50 credits for $250+ hotel, car or cruise bookings through TrueBlue Travel.
  • Core perks such as a free checked bag and lounge access remain in place, and JetBlue is expanding its BlueHouse lounges and adding a ClassPass partnership to build a broader travel and lifestyle ecosystem.
