Overview
- JetBlue and United said Thursday that reciprocal elite perks are now live for TrueBlue Mosaic and MileagePlus Premier members across both networks.
- Eligible members who add their frequent flyer number to a booking now get priority check-in and security, preferred seats after booking, one free checked bag with priority handling, same-day standby, and extra-legroom seats at check-in.
- Priority boarding aligns by tier: on JetBlue, United Premier 1K and Premier Platinum board Group 1, Premier Gold Group 2, and Premier Silver Group 3, while on United, JetBlue Mosaic 2–4 board Group 1 and Mosaic 1 boards Group 2.
- The new perks do not include lounge access or confirmed upgrades, extra-legroom seats open only at check-in, MileagePlus members do not earn Premier-qualifying credit on JetBlue flights, select JetBlue Newark routes do not earn United miles, and TrueBlue members can earn tiles on qualifying United flights.
- Next steps the airlines describe include single connected interline tickets for trips that mix both carriers, with reporting pointing to a potential 2027 gate and slot swap between JFK and Newark.
