Overview
- Jet2 announced on Wednesday that it has put a seasonal Stansted–Innsbruck route on sale for Winter 2026/27 with weekly Saturday flights running from 19 December 2026 to 10 April 2027.
- The new service will provide more than 6,000 additional ski seats and is timed to cover key holiday periods such as Christmas, February half-term and Easter.
- Innsbruck becomes Jet2's fifth ski destination from London Stansted, joining Chambery, Geneva, Grenoble and Salzburg and widening access to resorts across Austria, France, Switzerland and northern Italy.
- Passengers will receive a 10kg hand baggage allowance and can book hold luggage and ski carriage of up to 22kg each for an extra charge, with the airline advertising friendly flight times for weekend travel.
- Jet2 framed the route as demand-driven, noting Innsbruck's quick links to nearby resorts such as Nordkette, Mayrhofen and St Anton, and the move signals incremental winter growth at Stansted rather than a year-round network change.
