Producer Michael Harrison says the tour will follow the West End seasons and reunite the 2016 Regent’s Park creative team, with ticketing and full casting still to be confirmed.

Overview

  • Producer Michael Harrison announced this week that the Olivier-winning revival of Jesus Christ Superstar will embark on a major U.K. tour with Sam Ryder continuing in the title role.
  • The tour is scheduled to follow West End runs at the London Palladium (through September 5, 2026) and Theatre Royal Drury Lane (October 16, 2026–January 9, 2027) and will launch February 11–27, 2027, at the Palace Theatre Manchester.
  • Organisers have released a multi-city itinerary for 2027 that includes Cardiff, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Oxford, Norwich, Blackpool, Birmingham, Belfast and more, with some venues providing their own on-sale dates.
