Overview
- Jefferson announced Monday that the Allentown regional campus will enroll an inaugural class of 45 students in July 2029.
- The campus will occupy more than 54,000 square feet at One Center Square and replicate the JeffMD curriculum used on the Philadelphia campus.
- Students will complete clinical training at Jefferson Health–Lehigh Valley hospitals and outpatient locations, linking classroom instruction with local clinical sites.
- The Allentown campus is Jefferson's second regional Sidney Kimmel Medical College site announced in 2026 following its June selection to establish a four‑year campus in Delaware.
- The move builds on existing partnerships that hosted more than 80 medical students and eight PA students on rotation in 2025–26 and could increase the region’s chances of retaining graduates as practicing clinicians.
