Jeep Unveils Six Concepts for 60th Easter Jeep Safari

The parts-driven, gas-only lineup points to a back-to-basics strategy for the brand’s Moab showcase.

Overview

  • Jeep, which unveiled the six-build roster Thursday, will show the concepts at Walker Drug in downtown Moab from March 30 to April 3 during the March 28–April 5 event.
  • Headlining the group, the Wrangler-based Anvil 715 uses a 6.4-liter 392 HEMI V8 with about 470 hp and adds a fixed roof with skylights, steel bumpers, 37-inch tires, and an onboard air system for overlanding.
  • The XJ Pioneer is a lightly modified 1984 Cherokee that keeps its original 2.8-liter V6 and period-correct look, with raised fender flares, 33-inch all-terrains, subtle rock rails, and retro interior touches.
  • A Gladiator Red Rock upfit will be donated to the Red Rock 4-Wheelers to support trail maintenance, with JPP gear including a 3-inch lift, beadlock wheels on 37s, a Warn winch, a bed rack, and a Bedslide tray.
  • All six concepts run conventional engines with no EV or plug-in options, a choice outlets describe as a restrained, JPP showcase compared with past wild EJS one-offs that often served as rolling parts testbeds.
