Japan’s Weekly Famitsu Charts: Yakuza Kiwami 3 Debuts on Top as Switch 2 Leads Hardware

  • SEGA’s title opened with 58,171 copies on PS5, 19,845 on PS4, and 15,988 on Switch 2 for 94,004 combined retail sales.
  • Nintendo’s Mario Tennis Fever debuted in second place on Switch 2 with 39,522 copies sold at retail.
  • Switch 2 was the best-selling console SKU with 57,779 units, while combined Switch 1 models totaled 26,521 units versus 11,588 for the PS5 family.
  • Dragon Quest VII: Reimagined continued strong multi-platform sales with 32,102 on Switch, 23,617 on Switch 2, and 11,800 on PS5, and PS4 hardware registered just 25 units.
