Jammu Rail Official Uchit Singhal to Receive 'Ati Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar 2025' on Jan. 9

Officials credit nine months of leadership that improved USBRL operations, passenger amenities, revenue growth.

Northern Railway’s Jammu division and a Railways PRO announced that Singhal will be honored for service in 2025.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will present the award at Delhi’s Yashobhoomi Convention Centre on January 9.
Cited achievements include the successful operation of the Udhampur–Srinagar–Baramulla Rail Link, upgraded facilities, and higher earnings.
The ceremony will also recognize more than 100 standout employees from railway zones and departments across India.
Singhal said the recognition reflects the Jammu division staff’s efforts to improve passenger comfort, safety, and convenience.
