- Spire Motorsports will field Hinchcliffe in the No. 77 Chevrolet Silverado RST for the inaugural NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event on the 1.8-mile, 14-turn course.

- Hinchcliffe plans double duty that weekend by competing in the Truck race before moving to the FOX broadcast booth for the NTT IndyCar Series.
