Overview
- Mariska Hargitay shared an Instagram photo and viral set images show Jalen Brunson on the Brooklyn SVU set, turning earlier speculation into on‑set confirmation.
- Photos show Brunson holding a slate and wearing a police badge, which suggests he may play a law‑enforcement cameo though his character name remains undisclosed.
- Hargitay told Variety the cameo was “definitely happening,” and her public presence at Knicks games helped move the idea from wishful to verified.
- Brunson had publicly said he wanted an SVU cameo after the Knicks won the 2026 title and has long described himself as a fan of the series.
- The appearance continues a trend of top athletes expanding into scripted TV work and will raise Brunson’s off‑court profile while production credits and the episode airdate are finalized.
