Overview
- The PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch editions of Jaleco Sports: Faceoffs launched on Sept. 4, 2026 as a surprise release and are available at a limited $7.99 launch price that will rise to $9.99 in two weeks.
- The pack includes six original Jaleco sports games from 1988–1994, notably Pro Sports Hockey (NES) and USA Ice Hockey (SNES), with seamless switching between NES and SNES versions and regions.
- Built-in original manuals, a VHS-style rewind feature, a CRT filter, monthly leaderboards and Remote Play support are included to aid preservation and modern playability.
- Rock It Games published the collection and Dallas-based Sickhead Games developed it, with a PC version confirmed but not yet dated and no announced builds for Switch 2 or PlayStation 4.
- Collectors and players may take particular interest because Pro Sports Hockey is very rare in the physical market and the digital inclusion could affect demand for expensive cartridge copies.
