- The Paul brothers confirmed the project in press materials released Sept. 10–11, 2026, naming Wheelhouse and Most Valuable Promotions as producers and listing multiple executive producers from both companies.
- The format will strand competitors together in a survival setting, split them into rival teams coached by Jake and Logan, and resolve eliminations through actual fights rather than votes.
- Fights will span multiple disciplines — MMA, boxing, wrestling, jiu‑jitsu, Muay Thai and karate — and the competition will end when one man and one woman remain as winners.
- Casting is open now through a dedicated site and production is scheduled to begin in 2027, with the series planned to stream on both Hulu and air on ESPN.
