Overview
- Jaguar Land Rover will recall 170,169 U.S. vehicles after a federal safety notice flagged a risk of power loss.
- NHTSA says an internal fault in a boost-control microchip can make the DC-DC converter fail.
- That failure can stop 12-volt charging and cut exterior lights and drive power.
- The action covers 2019–2024 models including Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Defender, Discovery, Evoque, Velar, Jaguar F-Pace and Jaguar E-Pace mild-hybrid.
- A fix is still in development, with interim owner letters planned for June 12, 2026, under recall IDs D126 and H575, and owners can call 800-637-6837 for help.
