Overview
- The exhibition is now open at IVAM in València and runs through September 6, 2026.
- Visitors enter a dark, enveloping environment built as a hybrid ecosystem with living plants, blown-glass forms, suspended organisms, projections, and an octophonic sound field.
- A working raizotrón anchors the scientific side of the show, letting people watch roots grow without digging up the plant.
- An anteroom pairs 17th-century botanical plates from the Jardín Botánico de València with the artist’s speculative drawings to frame the leap from historical study to imagined ecologies.
- IVAM co-produced the project with LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial, which plans to present it in 2027.
