Overview
- The Economy Ministry, which filed its lists Thursday, set out new boards for Leonardo, Eni, Enel and Enav for upcoming shareholder votes.
- At Leonardo, MBDA executive Lorenzo Mariani is proposed as chief executive and Francesco Macrì as chair, replacing Roberto Cingolani and Stefano Pontecorvo after days of speculation that hit the stock.
- At Eni, Claudio Descalzi is reconfirmed as chief executive and Terna leader Giuseppina Di Foggia is named chair for the next term.
- Enel keeps Flavio Cattaneo as chief executive and Paolo Scaroni as chair, while Enav is set to get Sandro Pappalardo as chair and Igor de Biasio as chief executive.
- The state holds 2.16% of Eni directly and 30.91% via Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, which makes its slate hard to beat, and Eni’s shareholder meeting is set for May 6.
