IRCTC Expands Bharat Gaurav With Two All-Inclusive Pilgrim Train Circuits

The launches formalize dates, routes, fares, booking channels and package inclusions to target peak-season devotional travel.

Overview

  • IRCTC, which announced the new circuits on June 26, published full itineraries, class-based pricing and opened bookings on its tourism portal.
  • The Sapt Jyotirlinga Shravan Special Yatra starts from Solapur on August 11, runs 13 nights and 14 days, visits six major Jyotirlinga sites and other temples, and is sized for about 750 passengers with Economy Sleeper, Standard 3AC and Comfort 2AC options.
  • The Divine East Temple Tour is an 11-day deluxe circuit from Delhi Safdarjung that visits Varanasi, Puri, Konark, Chilika, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Gangasagar and Baidyanath Dham and is scheduled to return to Delhi on October 5, 2026.
  • Both packages are sold as all-inclusive offerings that cover train travel in the chosen class, hotel stays, pure vegetarian meals, sightseeing and transfers, travel insurance and IRCTC tour manager services, with fares and contact details published online.
  • As a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, IRCTC is scaling themed rail pilgrimage products to streamline travel during peak religious seasons which could ease planning for pilgrims and concentrate travel demand for regional tourism businesses.
