Inti Creates Sets Switch 2 Launch Date for Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced

  • Inti Creates confirmed on Wednesday that Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced — Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will arrive on October 22, 2026.
  • The Switch 2 edition carries a $49.99 price and existing Nintendo Switch owners can buy a $10 Upgrade Pack to access the new content on the next-gen console.
  • The release includes a new full story mode, “Azure Striker Gunvolt GX,” which pairs Gunvolt and Copen, adds new weapons and skills, and uses an “Inspiration” system that rewards swapping between characters.
  • The edition is optimized for Switch 2 with higher framerate and resolution support, and the GX story features fully voiced English and Japanese dialogue presented with in-action “live novel” segments.
  • Japan will receive physical and limited editions with region pricing and collectibles, and Inti Creates plans to offer the GX story as paid DLC for PlayStation 5 and Steam after launch, extending access beyond Switch 2.
