Overview
- INPS, in Circular No. 29 published Friday, March 27, 2026, set the new framework for the Bonus Nido and confirmed that one accepted claim now stays valid until the child turns three.
- Parents no longer reapply each year, but they must upload traceable monthly nursery invoices and keep their ISEE updated or they will receive only the minimum amount.
- The new “neutralized” ISEE excludes Assegno Unico payments, which can move households into lower bands and raise the annual reimbursement they qualify for.
- For children born from Jan. 1, 2024, the cap is €3,600 with ISEE up to €40,000 and €1,500 above that, while earlier births keep three tiers of €3,000, €2,500, or €1,500, with up to 11 months reimbursed and a home-care option for severe chronic conditions.
- Applications are filed on the INPS portal or via patronati/CAF through Dec. 31, 2026, with funds assigned in order of arrival until resources are exhausted, and coverage differed on whether the online service is already live.
