- Inmet, which issued orange danger alerts on Saturday, warns the South could see 50–100 mm of rain, gusts near 100 km/h and isolated hail as a cold front interacts with an extratropical cyclone off the RS–Uruguay coast.
- For Sunday, danger alerts cover wide areas of the North and Northeast with 30–60 mm per hour or up to 100 mm in a day and winds of 60–100 km/h, including parts of Pará, Maranhão, Ceará and Rio Grande do Norte.
- Recent downpours have already strained cities in Bahia, where Salvador logged more than 100 mm in 24 hours with flooding and treefalls, while Sergipe reports April totals near or above 300 mm in several towns.
- Paraná expanded storm alerts to 262 cities for Sunday after Saturday's first wave in the far west, with state forecasters citing an approaching trough and a cold front that could trigger strong thunderstorms and a cooldown early next week.
- Civil defense and fire services urge people to avoid shelter under trees, unplug electronics, steer clear of flooded roads and call 199 for Defesa Civil or 193 for Corpo de Bombeiros during emergencies.
