  • The recalled product is Tippy Toes Apple Pear Banana fruit puree in two-pack plastic tubs with UPC 036800 265783, lot 07174, code INIA0120, and best-by date 07/17/2026.
  • The lot was shipped to grocery stores in every U.S. state except Alaska and may also have reached Puerto Rico and Guam.
  • Patulin is a mycotoxin produced by mold on fruits such as apples, and long-term ingestion can cause immune suppression, nerve damage, headaches, fever, and nausea, the FDA warns.
  • No illnesses or injuries have been reported to date, according to the FDA and Initiative Foods.
  • Consumers should stop using the product and discard it or return it for a refund; retailers have been told to remove and catalogue the lot, and questions can be directed to 1-855-215-5730 (Mon–Fri, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. ET).
