Cautious outlooks reflect slower client spending alongside early gains from AI services.

Overview

  • Infosys, which reported Q4 results on Thursday, guided for 1.5%–3.5% FY27 revenue growth and posted Rs 8,501 crore profit on Rs 46,402 crore revenue with a final dividend of Rs 25 per share.
  • HCLTech, which posted results on Tuesday, reported Rs 4,488 crore profit, guided for 1%–4% growth in constant currency, announced a Rs 24 dividend, and highlighted Advanced AI revenue at $155 million in Q4 and over $620 million annualised.

  • Executives across firms said clients cut non‑essential projects and delayed decisions, while the weaker rupee lifted reported revenue because most bills are in dollars or euros.
