Overview
- IndiGo, which opened bookings Thursday as the DXN airport code went live, will be the launch carrier at Noida International Airport.
- The inaugural day features a Lucknow–Noida–Bengaluru rotation using flights 6E 2278/2279, plus daily Noida–Hyderabad and Noida–Amritsar services starting June 15.
- Further routes begin June 16 with daily Noida–Bengaluru and Noida–Jammu, followed by a wider rollout from July 1 that adds cities such as Srinagar, Navi Mumbai, Jodhpur, Dharamshala, Bhopal, Dehradun, Jaipur, Pantnagar and Chandigarh, with Bareilly and Kishangarh on select days.
- An airport official said Akasa Air and Air India Express plan to start Noida services around June 16–17, with international flights expected to begin from September.
- The greenfield project’s first phase involves about Rs 11,200 crore of investment with initial capacity for roughly 12 million passengers a year, scalable to about 70 million as the airport grows.
