Indiana Adds Western Kentucky Exhibition in Evansville
The Oct. 25 exhibition provides a preseason test for a revamped Hoosiers roster returning to Southwestern Indiana.
Overview
- Indiana announced an exhibition against Western Kentucky at Evansville’s Ford Center on Oct. 25, with the game listed for 3 p.m. CT and the arena seating about 11,000 fans.
- General tickets for the Evansville game are scheduled to go on sale through the Ford Center ticket office and Ticketmaster starting June 26.
- The Evansville date is the Hoosiers’ first game in Southwestern Indiana since 2011 and their first meeting with Western Kentucky since 1993.
- Indiana has not released its full 2026-27 nonconference slate but has already confirmed other neutral-site matchups, including games against North Carolina, Kentucky and Syracuse and home dates with Eastern Illinois, Bellarmine and Bowling Green.
- With heavy roster turnover after an 18-14 season under coach Darian Devries, Indiana will use the Evansville exhibition and a July trip to the FISU America Games in Peru as early chances to evaluate the new-look team.
