Overview
- Railway Board approval is in place for a new Udaipur City–Asarwa (Ahmedabad) Vande Bharat to be operated and maintained by the North Western Railway zone.
- The service will run six days a week except Tuesdays as trains 26963/26964, leaving Udaipur at 6:10 am for a 10:25 am arrival and returning from Asarwa at 5:45 pm to reach Udaipur at 10:00 pm.
- Commercial halts are set at Zawar, Dungarpur and Himmatnagar to extend premium service access along the corridor.
- Existing Vande Bharat services 20979/80 (Udaipur–Jaipur) end on February 14 and 20981/82 (Udaipur–Agra Cantt) end on February 15, according to NWR.
