Overview
- The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting runs January 18–24, 2026 in Davos under the theme "A Spirit of Dialogue" with nearly 3,000 leaders from about 130 countries, including around 60 heads of state.
- Union ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw, Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Pralhad Joshi are slated to join the Indian delegation.
- Chief ministers Devendra Fadnavis, N Chandrababu Naidu, Himanta Biswa Sarma, Mohan Yadav and A Revanth Reddy are expected, with Gujarat Deputy CM Harsh Sanghavi and a Uttar Pradesh delegation also planning to attend as more state teams are anticipated.
- Business leaders expected include Mukesh Ambani, N Chandrasekaran, Nandan Nilekani and Nikhil Kamath alongside other prominent executives from banking, technology and industry.
- Official representation will be led by DPIIT Secretary Amardeep Singh Bhatia with PSU heads from Indian Oil, GAIL, SBI, NTPC and REC, and Smriti Zubin Irani will attend as founder of the Alliance for Global Good: Gender Equity and Equality.
