India Inc Q4: Profits Rise as SBI Sets Record, Mahindra Jumps, Paytm Turns Profitable

Exceptional items alongside freight disruptions set the tone for investor reaction.

  • Mahindra & Mahindra reported a 42% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 46.68 billion with revenue up 29% to Rs 549.82 billion and a higher dividend of Rs 33 per share.
  • SBI posted a standalone net profit of Rs 19,684 crore for the quarter and a record Rs 80,032 crore for FY26 as asset quality improved with gross NPAs at 1.49% and net NPAs at 0.39%.
