India Close Ulaanbaatar Open with 17 Medals After Three Freestyle Golds

India ended the Ulaanbaatar Open with 17 medals after a seven‑medal final day in men's freestyle that included three golds by Deepak, Dinesh and Sagar Jaglan.
Deepak won the 61kg gold 6-0 over Kazakhstan's Assyl Aitakyn, Dinesh took the 125kg title 2-0 versus Yedige Kassimbek, and Sagar Jaglan edged Russia's Tamir Eshinimaev 3-2 for 74kg gold.
India's Greco‑Roman squad won the division team title with 119 points, with golds from Sunil (87kg) and Nitesh (97kg) and a bronze from Sahil (60kg).
The women's team added seven medals, including golds from Manisha (57kg), Neha (59kg) and Kajal (76kg), while freestyle bronzes came from Sumit, Kumar Mohit, Jaideep and Vicky.
WFI president Sanjay Singh said the results show growing squad depth and give momentum for selection, confidence and preparation ahead of larger international events.
