Overview
- India and Germany held Foreign Office Consultations in Berlin on Tuesday co-chaired by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and State Secretary Géza Andreas von Geyr.
- They agreed to expand work on defence, critical and emerging technologies, digital governance, renewable energy and green hydrogen with room for industrial partnerships.
- Delegations reviewed trade, security, mobility and people-to-people links, and they also discussed the conflicts in West Asia and in Ukraine.
- The co-chairs unveiled a logo for 75 years of diplomatic ties as teams began shaping outcomes for Inter-Governmental Consultations later this year.
- Misri met Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul and engaged lawmakers and policy experts at the Körber Foundation to build support for the agenda.
