- In early August 2026 INAPAM reaffirmed that Vinculación Productiva is a free intermediary service for people aged 60 and over and that to enroll they must visit a local module in person with a valid INAPAM card and their CURP during typical hours of 08:00–14:00.
- The roughly 9,500-peso number circulating in coverage comes from the 2026 general minimum wage set by Conasami at 315.04 pesos per day, which equals about 9,582 pesos per month and may reflect what some employers pay rather than any institute transfer.
- The program offers two distinct paths: formal employment where the employer pays wages and statutory benefits, and the Sistema de Personas Voluntarias Empacadoras de Mercancías where participants receive voluntary customer contributions and do not form an employment relationship.
- INAPAM emphasized that hiring, salary amounts, and benefits are the employer’s responsibility, that registration does not guarantee placement or a 9,500-peso salary, and that taking work through the program does not automatically cancel the Pensión para el Bienestar.
