Overview
- Walt Disney Imagineering and the Walt Disney World Engineering Services Artist Prep team published photos on Aug. 21–22 showing a visible refresh of the Germany Train Garden that is currently on display while broader pavilion work continues.
- The updated miniature village adds Snow White scenes (the Huntsman, the Wicked Queen and the Dwarfs’ cottage), a small Dreamfinder figure, a clock tower and a fountain modeled on the real Germany pavilion, plus repainted town‑square buildings.
- Artists installed whimsical details such as tiny musicians in a gazebo, a mine shaft with jewel accents, a model mine cart and a miniature construction zone ringed by green walls reading “Please Pardon Our Pixie Dust.”
- The Germany pavilion is undergoing a larger multi‑month refurbishment that briefly closed some shops and routes; Der Teddybar has since reopened and the Kidcot location was moved inside that space near the registers.
- Reporters note the Play Disney Parks app will shut down next month, which may remove or alter app‑driven interactions that used the miniature railroad setting, potentially changing how guests encounter some animated features.
