IDF Says It Killed Hezbollah Operative in Dounine Strike Targeting Rebuild Efforts

  • The IDF reported on Saturday that it struck and killed a Hezbollah operative in the Dounine area who was using an engineering vehicle to try to reestablish infrastructure hit during Operation Northern Arrows.
  • On Friday, the IDF said it eliminated a Hezbollah-linked figure in the Kherbet Selem area who was involved in efforts to restore the group’s military capabilities.
  • Overnight Thursday, IDF troops dismantled what the military described as a Hezbollah military structure in the Yaroun area that posed a threat to forces.
  • Also on Thursday, the IDF said it struck infrastructure in Mazraat Sinai, including a quarry that allegedly produced cement to rebuild assets damaged during the Swords of Iron war and Operation Northern Arrows.
  • The IDF stated it also hit a site used by the organization Green Without Borders that it says served as civilian cover for Hezbollah activity and it labeled these activities a violation of the IsraelLebanon understandings.
