Overview
- Sgt. Maj. (Res.) Ayal Uriel Bianco, 30, of Katzrin, was identified by the IDF as killed in combat in southern Lebanon.
- Bianco, a firefighting vehicle driver in the 188th ‘Barak’ Armored Brigade, died in an engagement that also left one reservist moderately hurt and two lightly wounded.
- The wounded from that clash were evacuated to hospitals, and the army said their families were notified.
- In a separate incident, an explosive drone detonated where troops were operating in southern Lebanon, injuring eight soldiers with two in moderate condition.
