Overview
- ICEYE closed a Series F round led by General Atlantic that injected €450 million of primary capital and, with a secondary placement, pushed the financing above €1 billion and the company valuation past €10 billion.
- The round brought in strategic and institutional backers including Nokia, the Qatar Investment Authority, TCV and Finnish state investors Solidium, Tesi, Varma and Ilmarinen.
- ICEYE reported more than €250 million in revenue and over €100 million in EBITDA for 2025 and holds a contracted backlog of roughly €1.5 billion driven mainly by national security customers.
- The company has delivered fast, sovereign systems such as Poland’s four‑satellite POLSARIS and is partnering with Rheinmetall on a German JV and production line, with a plan to increase output from about 50 satellites a year to roughly 100 by 2028.
- Higher production and government ownership of constellations could shift who controls crucial battlefield intelligence, create factory and supply‑chain strain, and make ICEYE’s future growth sensitive to continued defence spending and export rules.
