- An out-of-competition sample collected on 8 September 2025 tested positive for a metabolite of mesterolone, triggering an Article 2.1 anti-doping presence charge against Asif Khan.
- Khan admitted the violation and accepted a Case Resolution Agreement with WADA and the ICC, avoiding a full hearing and forfeiting the right to appeal the agreed sanction.
