I-4 Westbound Closed Near Disney World After Major Crash

Overview

• A major crash just before 10 a.m. Tuesday has shut all westbound lanes of I-4 at exit 67 alongside Walt Disney World while crews work the scene.
• Florida Department of Transportation traffic cameras show heavy backups and officers are routing westbound traffic off the interstate onto Epcot Center Drive and nearby surface streets.
• Authorities have confirmed the full westbound closure but have not released verified counts of vehicles involved or whether anyone was injured.
• The closure blocks the main direct route from Orlando to Walt Disney World and other west-side destinations, creating delays for resort arrivals, airport transfers, and local traffic.
• Travelers are advised to delay trips if possible, use alternate routes, and check FDOT feeds or live traffic apps for updates because park operations appear unaffected but arrivals will take longer.
