Hyundai Unveils Staria Electric MPV With 800-Volt Fast Charging and 400 km WLTP Range

Sales begin in Korea and Europe in the first half of 2026 with Ulsan production, as Hyundai details specs but leaves pricing and peak DC charge rate to be announced.

  • Revealed at the Brussels Motor Show, the Staria Electric enters production in Ulsan and is slated for Korea and Europe in H1 2026.
  • An 84 kWh battery powers a 160 kW, 350 Nm front motor with front-wheel drive only and an estimated WLTP range of up to 400 km.
  • The 800-volt architecture enables 10–80% DC fast charging in about 20 minutes under optimal conditions; an 11 kW AC charger and heated front charge port are included.
  • Seven-seat Luxury and nine-seat Wagon configurations retain a flat floor and provide 435–1,303 liters of luggage space behind the third row.
