Hyundai Trims i20 N Line Range as DCT Becomes N8-Only

Hyundai is concentrating the automatic option in the top trim to simplify choices without altering prices or hardware.

Overview

  • Hyundai has dropped the N6 DCT variant, so buyers who want the dual-clutch automatic must now choose the N8.
  • The N6 trim stays on sale with a six-speed manual gearbox and it no longer offers dual-tone paint.
  • The N8 continues with both a manual and a seven-speed DCT and it retains dual-tone colour options.
  • There are no mechanical changes, with the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine carrying over as before.
  • Prices remain at Rs 9.22 lakh to Rs 11.67 lakh ex-showroom in India, and the model now mainly rivals turbo-petrol Maruti Suzuki Fronx variants after the Tata Altroz Racer ended in 2025.
