Hyundai Marks 30 Years in India With Rs 45,000 Crore Plan and 26-Model Pipeline by 2030

The company is banking on India as a global production hub, a leading export base.

  • HMIL, which marked 30 years on Wednesday, announced a Rs 45,000 crore plan for FY26–FY30 to boost factories, electrification and product development.
  • Hyundai will roll out 26 new models and variants by FY2030 spanning petrol, hybrid and electric lines.
  • Cumulative sales have crossed 13.5 million units, with more than 9.6 million sold in India and over 3.9 million exported to about 150 countries.
  • Production capacity is 994,000 vehicles a year after the Talegaon plant came online in 2025, with a target of 1,074,000 by 2028.
  • The company says all offices and plants now run on 100% renewable energy under its RE100 pledge, supported by 350-plus efficiency projects in five years.
