Hyundai Launches Venue Knight Edition in India From Rs 9.69 Lakh

The black-themed special signals Hyundai’s push to lift perceived value through style rather than mechanical changes.

Overview

  • Hyundai’s Venue Knight Edition, which debuted Monday in India, starts at about Rs 9.69–9.70 lakh ex-showroom and is offered on select HX5, HX6T, HX8 and HX10 trims.
  • The edition adds blacked-out styling with 16-inch black alloys, matte black badges, red brake calipers and an all-black cabin with brass accents, plus two new matte colours called Hazel Blue Matte and Mystic Sapphire Matte.
  • The HX6T, HX10 and N Line N10 variants gain an integrated dashcam that supports continuous, emergency, vacation and on-demand recording with footage accessible through a phone app, prompting small price hikes of roughly Rs 8,000 to Rs 24,000 on those trims.
  • There are no mechanical changes, with the same engines carried over: a 1.2-litre petrol with a manual, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol with a DCT automatic and a 1.5-litre diesel with manual and automatic choices.
  • The Knight package costs about Rs 15,000 more than comparable Venue variants, with some differences up to roughly Rs 25,000, and it builds on a Hyundai ‘Knight’ lineup that has sold about 92,000 units since 2022.
