Overview

  • The updated sedan is offered in six trims named HX2, HX4, HX6, HX6+, HX8 and HX10 under Hyundai’s revised variant nomenclature.
  • Safety additions include Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 ADAS with about 20 functions, seven airbags on higher trims, a built‑in dashcam, a surround‑view monitor and a blind‑spot view monitor, with Hyundai citing more than 75 safety features in total.
  • Cabin and tech upgrades span dual 10.25‑inch integrated displays, Bluelink with 70+ connected features and 350+ voice commands, an 8‑speaker Bose system, ventilated front seats, wireless charging and powered front seats with memory and a walk‑in device.
  • Exterior tweaks bring a black chrome grille, dual LED projector headlamps, revised bumpers and new 16‑inch diamond‑cut alloys, while dimensions remain unchanged; two new colours are Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte.
  • Powertrains carry over with a 1.5‑litre MPi (6‑MT or IVT) and a 1.5‑litre Turbo GDi producing 160 PS and 253 Nm (6‑MT or 7‑speed DCT), as Hyundai positions the Verna against the Honda City, Skoda Slavia and VW Virtus, with deliveries expected by the end of March.
