- GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd announced on Monday that Rajiv Gandhi International Airport placed fourth in AttractionTickets.com’s ‘Happiest Airports’ ranking.
- AttractionTickets.com scored more than 140 airports in May 2026 and gave RGIA an 18.5 out of 20 based on nine family-centered indicators.
- The ranking measured Google review ratings, children’s play areas, family security lanes, baby-change rooms, stroller services, rest and sleep zones, Wi‑Fi quality, airport size, and support for neurodivergent passengers.
- GHIAL highlighted on-terminal amenities that influenced the score, including dedicated kids’ play areas, family rooms, baby-care facilities on multiple levels, complimentary strollers, trained passenger service staff, therapy dogs, a yoga room, and family-friendly retail and food options.
- The airport is one of only two Indian airports on the global list, and GHIAL says the recognition will support its push to meet international benchmarks and attract more family travellers and tourism business.
