Hyderabad Student Missing in Finland After CCTV Shows Him in Helsinki Mall

• An 18-year-old LUT University student from Hyderabad traveled alone from Lahti to Helsinki and was last confirmed on CCTV inside a Helsinki shopping mall on May 5.
• Finnish police have opened a missing-person investigation and say they traced his train arrival at Helsinki Central station before the mall sighting.
• His bank cards show no use after May 5, but university account logins on May 9 and May 10 were recorded and are being checked for device and IP details.
• The parents’ visa requests to travel to Finland were rejected and they told the Telangana High Court that communication with investigators stalled after May 29.
