Hyderabad Police Seize 23 Kg of Marijuana and Arrest Four at Nampally

A targeted intelligence stop revealed a courier network moving ganja between agency areas and Maharashtra with key suppliers and buyers still being traced.

  • Police say the 23 kg consignment was bought in the Araku agency area at about ₹6,000 per kg, giving the haul an estimated value near ₹12 lakh, and that the supplier named Govind is at large.
  • A case has been registered at Abids police station and investigators are tracing the alleged supplier plus three named intended recipients in Maharashtra as they probe the wider inter-state supply chain.
