HYBE Launches India Audition for Global Talent Starting March 31

The program applies HYBE’s localization model to develop India-born artists through its training pipeline.

Overview

  • HYBE India, which announced Tuesday the first HYBE India Audition, will begin the search on March 31 through a mix of online submissions and on-ground rounds.
  • In-person tryouts will run across Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune, with overseas rounds in Toronto, New York, Sydney, Singapore and London.
  • Applicants can also submit online, and the audition covers vocals, rap and dance performance for candidates seeking entry into HYBE’s system.
  • Selected talent will enter HYBE’s training and production track with a chance to debut after completing the program.
  • The move builds on HYBE’s 2025 Mumbai office launch as its fifth global base and extends Bang Si-hyuk’s “multihome, multigenre” strategy to a large, young market with fast-growing digital music use.
