- Los Angeles County opened 524 additional vote centers on Saturday to expand in-person voting, ballot drop-off and conditional voter registration for the June 2 primary.
- San Diego County put more than 200 vote centers into service on Saturday with daily hours through June 1 and extended 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. service at centers, drop boxes and the registrar’s office on Election Day.
- California Secretary of State Shirley Weber reminded voters that polls will be open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on June 2 and that anyone still in line when polls close has the right to vote.
- Voters returning mail ballots must meet postmark and receipt rules to be counted, signature checks are performed by county offices, and many counties offer ballot-tracking tools plus in-person drop boxes to avoid postal delays.
