- The HOC–Safarnaama co-production fund, announced Friday, will back one emerging Indian feature with Rs 40 lakh to get a festival-ready debut made.
- Vishal Bhardwaj and Oscar-nominated filmmaker Shaunak Sen will mentor the selected director, with Sen attached as executive producer.
- A jury of Imran Khan, Arati Kadav, producer Aman Mann, and festival director Aseem Chhabra will choose the project.
- Applications are open to Indian citizens aged 18 or older who have directed at least two short films or one feature.
